My favorite concert

I’m going to start by telling you that my first concert was in 2009 when I went to see Avril Lavigne with two of my friends. It was very nice but we were very far, and we could only see the bright neon thing she had in her hand. Then in 2011 I went to see Bruno Mars and I had so much fun! I also went with two of my friends. These are the most memorable. Then I got to see One Direction and Katy Perry. But my favorite artist came to Chile last year, Ed Sheeran. I met him because of 1D, because he wrote a really good song for them. He sings mostly pop, but he can also rap. He won a Grammy recently. This was the first time I saw someone that famous so close. First, the concert was going to be in Teatro Caupolican. I was very alert with buying the tickets, I couldn’t miss it! So I got them in a nice place. Then they changed it to Estadio Nacional, because they sold out very fast! When I got there I was nervous because I was going alone (my friend couldn’t buy in the first sell so we were apart). I realized I was a bit far from the stage. But when the concert started, everyone went to the front, so I went too, and got a seat in the front! A nice girl was by my side, we became friends and sang all the songs together. She was from Puerto Montt and really liked Ed so she traveled all the way there to see him! We lost contact but it was really nice not feeling alone, and sharing a special moment like seeing your favorite artist with someone who really likes it too. This is a picture I took, it has no zoom!
He wore the national football team shirt, I loved that detail. Here's a pic I found on the Internet:

My only brother

Today I want to tell you about my brother, Enzo. He is 16 months older than me, currently 19. He is studying mechanic engineering. He likes to watch videos on YouTube and play League of Legends most of the day. Once in a while he plays football with his friends. I’ve never seen him play a soccer game but I bet he is good, because he gets called to play. Sometimes he gets motivated and tries to learn to play an instrument (he has tried to play charango, piano and guitar) but never really tried hard so he leaves it there. I find it very funny because I also am like that.

I don’t think we are alike; physically or in personality. Some people say we do, some people say we are very different. Also people say that I look older than him but I don’t think so. He is taller, and has a beard.

I don’t have pictures with him… We don’t talk that much; most of the time we bother each other, but I really love him and wouldn’t know what to do without him. I ike spending time with him. He is a really nice brother.

The future....

10 years’ time… It can happen a lot! I imagine myself being happy with whatever I’ll be doing. Whether it is related to architecture or not. I hope one day I end up being an architect but anything can happen. Assuming that, I will be living in a house that I designed (or maybe having the plans to do so, and constructing it) with my S.O. and maybe (just maybe) a kid. Also I want to have a cat (maybe also a dog but I think they are too dependent). I have the idea of my future house, and it will be like this
Not really a big mansion, just the space that I need and being beautiful on the outside and cozy on the inside.I hope is near a beautiful landscape; it could be a beach or a lake.
I really hope that I have the time to read books, maybe paint and sell paintings as a hobby, going on a singing or dancing academy, it would be so fun. Enjoying that generation's tecnology also, anything could be invented!
But anyway, as I said, I think I would be happy in anything that I’m doing because you got to do what you love and love what you do.

Holiday!

Today I'm going to talk a holiday I liked a lot. It was summer 15' when my family and I went to Florida. Before we went I was very exited because I always wanted to go to the USA. The day came and I was happy! It was a long flight of course. First we were goig to Orlando. The first hotel was cozy and you could find everything near! I was very impressed. When we arived we were exhausted, so we slept a lot. At night, we ordered mexican food, and while we were waiting for it to arrive we were watching The Edge Of Tomorrow (very nice movie). Then it came, and it was DELICIOUS. I ate quesadillas. I'll never forget them, trust me. If you're wondering how they look like, here is a picture:
We had a plan for every day. I really don't remember the order but we went to Magic Kingdom (aka Disneyland), Epcot, Universal Studios, and we took a lot of pictures. I had so much fun. I even waited in line for more than 2 hours to meet Rapunzel, my favorite princess.
Then we traveled to Miami and went to a lot of beautiful beaches and to a lot of malls because everything is cheaper in there! I bought a lot of clothes and even things I didn´t need haha.
I really enjoyed this trip a lot, I would love to go again in the future.

A very nice beach

The last beach I went and had so much fun in was one at the south of Argentina, last summer in Aluminé lake. This lake had a lot of different beaches, and even in tiny islands where you could reach by boat. I have only visited once.

It was a very tiny beach in the land part, but it had white sand and it was protected from the wind (there was a lot in that zone). There was a little stand of food, but it was closed. My family and I thought "this would be the perfect beach if that was open!". We stayed, and in a couple of hours the owners came and opened the stand! And it wasn't just food, they had stand paddle equipment. I was dubious to try, but my family finally convinced me.

I had so much fun in there. After that we all had very delicious hamburgers and my parents ordered drinks. I really didn't want to leave, it was sunny and it was a wonderful day. We traveled around the lake in another beaches but none were like this one haha and that is another part of the story too.

A job I'd like to do

Today I’m going to talk about a job I would like to do. Since I turned 18 only 2 weeks ago, I don’t have any experience at working. But I wanted to when I was in my last year of school. The problem was that I wasn’t old enough to work, and if I did, I would have to do a lot of paperwork and I didn’t want to. I saw my best friend working at a Dunkin’ Donuts near her house, and I had been motivated if I worked with her but they didn’t accept minors even with the paperwork. And now that I am considered as an adult, being in this career doesn’t let me, because I don’t have time for anything. But if I could, I would start with small jobs, like packager at a supermarket or promoter. What I would really want to do is be a singer. I went to an academy two years ago that taught dance, acting and singing. I really enjoy singing so that was my favorite part. You really need to have a good ear to know the pitch to not sing out of tune. I think I sort of have this ability, I know I could improve but I also know I don’t sing badly. I performed in a school gig once, it was so fun I’d like to do it again. I could say that my inspiration is Ariana Grande. I really like how she sings, but I don’t like her as a person. I really like Hayley Williams too.
To conclude I’d like to say I would like to be a singer, but not the implications of maybe turning famous, because I like privacy.

My favourite London attraction

The place I want to go the most is to the Madame Tussaud's wax museum. It is near the Baker street station and the entrance is 23,79 euros worth. It's a little expensive but I think it's worth it, because it's so interesting seeing all this famous people wax figures. Ever since I heard about it I've wanted to go. It is impressive. The perfectionism of the figures is overwhelming. I found Angelina Jolie’s and Brad Pitt ones, and if the statues were alone, I wouldn’t have known that they were “fake”.
I hope to go one day in a trip with my family or maybe my friends, and take a lot of pictures with all the famous people that are in there.

An ambition for the future

My biggest ambition is to learn a lot of idioms and travel around the world someday. I would know so many countries and their cultures, and have so much histories to tell and memories. I’d love to start in South America to visit beautiful landscapes in Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil (even on the places I’ve been like Rio de Janeiro and Camboriu),  and then go to the beaches of Panamá and Costa Rica, and after that to a very long trip in the states of USA. Then I’d travel through Europe because I’ve seen pictures of there and it’s very nice. Try their food (even if I’m very pretentious with my tastes) and contemplate the architecture; maybe further like Dubai, Thailand and China.
The only thing that I’m worried about is about not seeing my family very much. My mom, my dad, and my brother have other things to do, but if I could, I would take them with me because they mean a lot to me (even my three cats’ haha).
I think life is to enjoy it, and the best way you can do it is to know different people and places, because you enrich with a lot of knowledge and learn a lot of things.

My favorite programme as a child

Today I'd like to tell you about a TV programme I watched as a child. The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. The show centers on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three girls with superpowers, as well as their father, the brainy scientist Professor Utonium, who all live in the fictional city of Townsville, USA. The girls are frequently called upon by the town's childlike and naive mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. Cartoon Network featured the first Powerpuff Girls pilots in its animation showcase program What a Cartoon! in 1995 and 1996. The series made its official debut as a Cartoon Cartoon on November 18, 1998, with the final episode airing on March 25, 2005.

In April 2005, plans for a Japanese anime version, Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z, were announced. The series premiered in Japan the following year, airing each Saturday from July 1 to December 23, 2006, and from January 6 to June 30, 2007. The series deviated from its American predecessor in terms of style, storyline, and characterization, but only minimally retained the essential themes that made the original a success. The characters feature three junior high school students Hyper Blossom, Rolling Bubbles, and Powered Buttercup as the three heroines. I personally think that this version of the series ruined it, because it wasn´t like the original at all. I loved the essence of the program, seeing the three little girls saving the city every time and fighting enemies like mojo jojo. I can´t say much about it because I watched it like twice, but the idea of the powerpuff girls being adolescent and so different from the original didn’t catch my attention.

Back to the original series, I liked them so much I woke up early to watch it. I even did a lot of drawings of them when I was little, my mom keeps them and she likes them a lot. I think the program enhanced the image of woman and I felt identified with them because I felt like I could do anything. My favorite was Blossom because she was the leader. I liked professor Utonium because he loved his little girls a lot and I feel like my father has something in common with him.

Last summer

Today I want to talk about what I think is the best picture I’ve ever taken. I took it last summer on a family trip to southern Chile and then we went through the “aduana” and went to Argentina. It was a very beautiful trip with very stunning landscapes. We were going back to Santiago, and I was in the car almost sleeping, and then I opened my eyes to see this. I did not think twice to take a picture. This place is called Villa Pehuenia and it´s very quiet and perfect for the family. Me and my family spent four days of our vacation in here and went to a lot of delightful restaurants. Our dad took us to the “7 lakes” trip but honestly I got bored, because all the lakes were the same, but even so it was lovely, and my father was enjoying it so much I was happy for him (because we always go to the beach due to my mom and he doesn´t like it). The people were friendly and the hotel was cozy (and had Wi-Fi which was very important of course). I had a really great time visiting and I hope I go back there someday soon.

My favourite piece of technology

In this entrance I want to talk about my favorite piece of technology. I think it’s my new iPad. I got it last summer when my parents and I found out that I got in the career I wanted, architecture in Universidad de Chile. Is very useful and I use it for a lot of things. When I need to draw from pictures I took of places, I bring it to university so I can work in here. I also use it to listen to music when I’m in the shower or in my room working on projects, to play games, to talk with friends on Facebook and not having to use my cellphone battery, to take pictures, among other stuff. It is very practical, and it is my first Apple product, but in cellphones I prefer android by far, and I would not change my hp computer either because I have sort of affection to it, I got it in my 15th birthday and I've put stickers in it and it´s beautiful. I hope they last long because I take very good care of them.

Taipei 101

Here I’m going to talk about the Taipei 101 building, the 8th tallest building in the world, located in Taipei, capital of the island of Taiwan.

It offers a mixed use and is distributed in floors for offices, a huge shopping center at the base of the tower, parking for 1839 places, an observatory on the 91st floor at 438 meters high, and other uses.

The first time I heard about it was this Easter, because I saw a drawing of this building on an egg on the internet, and you could see the structure far away in the picture.

Local people say it’s a nice place to start the tour around Taiwan. A lot of people visit this famous building, and that’s why it’s always very crowded by tourist from all around the world, and the line to the elevators can be long, but it’s worth it because the view from the top is amazing.

The Taipei 101 is the tallest building in the city so it contrasts a lot and it can be seen from anywhere. This is how it looks

I personally think it’s beautiful, and it’s on my list of places I want to visit in some point of my life.
